Genesis Mini-Grant Application

The Penns Valley Education Foundation (PVEF) is pleased to announce that funding will be available to teachers, coaches, and advisors, through the competitive Genesis Mini-Grant Program, to provide experiences to students above and beyond regular school programming. If you are interested, PVEF encourages you to apply for a Genesis Mini-Grant which can be used for supplies, equipment, field trips, guest speakers, or special presenters (may not be used for salaries). Applications must indicate if funding from other sources has been solicited or acquired for any part of the request, including the school district, booster clubs, PTGs, or other outside community organizations. The building administrator must also approve this application before submission.

In lieu of written reports, all grant recipients must give a brief presentation about their project at the Genesis Showcase, which is usually held in late April. At this event, you will describe your project and relate how your students have been impacted. PVEF also encourages taking pictures or compiling videos of students participating in the project. These photos and information can then be uploaded to the PVEF website so that community members can see the incredible work being done that benefits students in the classroom, in athletic programs, and through extracurricular activities.
